The Roddie Casement Sword was presented to the Sea Cadets by the family of the late Captain Roddie Casement OBE RN, who was Captain of the Sea Cadets from 1959 – 1967. It is awarded annually to the unit Commanding Officer who, in the opinion of the Captain of Sea Cadets, has by example and dedication, contributed most to the aims and service of the Sea Cadets during the preceding year.

This National award was presented to A/Sub Lt Dean by Commander Michael Casement OBE RN, son of the late Captain Casement, at a special presentation evening at Westerham SCC Unit, on 14th April, 2016.
