TRH The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attend the Enthronement of The Archbishop of Canterbury, 21 March, 2013

 

HRH The Prince of Wales was present in Canterbury Cathedral for the enthronement of The Most Reverend Justin Welby as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury. The cathedral was packed by a congregation of 2000 people, who witnessed a wonderful Service and with liturgy chosen to reflect the new Archbishop’s views. It also included an anthem especially commissioned by the Archbishop’s mother and step-father.

TRH The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were accompanied to their seats in the Choir  by The Lord-Lieutenant and Viscountess De L’Isle
