The Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenant Kelvin Holford watch three young scientists in action

 

The Lord-Lieutenant, Viscount De L’Isle met with 6000 young people from around the world at the Kent Scouts International Jamboree 2013 at the Kent Showground, Detling.

The Jamboree hosted by Kent Scouts was a week-long event and brought together Scouts and Guides from over 30 countries and as far afield as Canada, Africa, New Zealand and America.

The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to experience first-hand, young people from different cultures and backgrounds, all working, learning and having fun together.
