Remembrance Sunday Services, Faversham, Gravesham, Kings Hill, Aylesford, Sittingbourne, Teston & West Kingsdown, 11th November 2018

Remembrance Sunday Services will be held throughout Kent on 11th November 2018 and the Lord-Lieutenant will be represented at a number of Services as follows: Faversham: The War Memorial, Stone Street, time t.b.c. – Mr Jonathan Neame DL; Gravesham: Windmill Hill Memorial Gardens, 11.00 – Dr Bhargawa Vasudaven DL; Kings Hill: Kings Hill Community Centre, 10.15 – Mrs Louise Bryant JP DL; Aylesford: RBLI Village Garden of Honour, 14.30 – Mr Trevor Sturgess DL; Sittingbourne: The Cenotaph, Central Avenue, time t.b.c. – Mr Paul Auston DL; Teston: The War Memorial, time t.b.c. – Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Richard Dixon TD DL; West Kingsdown: The War Memorial, St Edmund the King and Martyr Church, Fawkham Road, 15.00 – Lady Nelson CBE DL. All Deputy Lieutenants will lay a wreath at the respective Services.

Services and parades are held throughout the nation on Remembrance Day to honour and remember those who have sacrificed their lives in war and who continue to do so in conflicts around the world. This year in particular, we all have the chance to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1.
