The School is a Comprehensive Secondary School and is extremely fortunate to have a school farm stocked with cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and a range of small animals.  The students are engaged in the life of a working farm in various ways and the school also offers an Animal Care Diploma.  The Opening Event included a tour of the new farm facilities which have all been funded by events that the Young Farmers have organised.  Mrs McCarthy said that she very much enjoyed the whole occasion, it was very well organised and the students’ contribution was most impressive.
