Kent Birthday Honours 2020 Announced

The Queen’s Birthday Honours 2020 were announced on Saturday 10 October and Kent has a huge number of recipients.  The list includes, Paul Carter who receives a Knighthood for his work with the County Councils Network and his time as Leader of Kent County Council.  One of our Deputy Lieutenants, Geraldine Allinson has been awarded an OBE for Services to local media in Kent.  Susan Fawcus has received an MBE for Services to Refugees and Julie Barry has received a BEM for her Services to the community during the Covid-19 crisis.  We are so proud of everyone in Kent who has received an Award in this year’s list and would like to congratulate them all.  More information on Kent’s recipients can be found at Kent Online and the full list of Kent recipients is below.
