Rosemary Clarke was a JP in Kent for many years and served on the IMB of Blantyre House prison in Kent.  She chaired a charity, the Blantyre House Vocational Fund, giving grants to serving prisoners until the prison was re-roled.  She is on the Advisory Council of the Sheriffs’ and Recorder’s Fund, a similar charity associated with the Old Bailey and raises money for them by performing in theatrical productions there.  She is an Honorary Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights.
