Citizenship Ceremonies, Archbishop’s Palace, 2nd, 5th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 26th and 30th September 2019
Citizenship ceremonies will be taking place at Archbishop’s Palace, Maidstone on 2nd, 5th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 26th and 30th September 2019 at 17.30 and the Lord-Lieutenant will be represented as follows: 2nd – Mr George Jessel DL; 5th – Air Marshal Christopher Nickols CB CBE DL; 12th – Mr Bill Cockcroft DL; 16th – Mrs Valerie Hale JP DL; 19th – Brigadier (Ret’d) John Meardon DL; 26th – Mr Bill Fawcus DL; 30th – Mrs Rosemary Dymond DL.
Citizenship ceremonies are for adults whose application to become a British citizen has been accepted and it is a legal requirement that the applicant takes a citizenship pledge and an oath of allegiance at a citizenship ceremony, within 90 days of the applicant receiving their invitation.
