Mrs Clark has dedicated over 30 years to making Goudhurst Scout Group a huge success. She is on the Lordship Wood Committee and was instrumental in setting up the Lordship Wood Camping and Activity Site. She is a selfless volunteer in her local community. (c) Barry Duffield DL

Mr Cooper has spent the past 30 years voluntarily assisting veterans and their families from all military backgrounds. He has been a Caseworker for SSAFA for 15 years and he independently set up an Armed Forces Advice Centre in Canterbury where he helps over 200 veterans each year. (c) Barry Duffield DL

Mr Emden has been a key player in various regeneration projects in the Folkestone area. He helped set up a Farmers Market, bringing a huge boost to the local economy and raised funds to refurbish the Simon Weston Memorial Fountain. He was instrumental in making the Step Short Project in 2014 a huge success and is held in high regard as a natural leader and someone who gets things done. (c) Barry Duffield DL

Mr Fisher is a Police Sergeant who has founded several Police Managed Boxing Clubs in deprived areas in London and Essex for under-privileged young people. The Clubs are free to attend and Mr Fisher offers guidance and advice to young people whilst instilling confidence in them as well as encouraging physical fitness. (c) Barry Duffield DL

Mrs Foat is responsible for forming the Ash Heritage Group and Ash Heritage Centre which houses important local archives. She oversaw every stage of the process of creating the Heritage Centre and it is now somewhere that the entire community of Ash is proud of.(c) Barry Duffield DL

Mr Marshall is an outstanding volunteer in his local community of Capel Le Ferne. He was one of the Founding Members of the Village Hall Committee which saw the Village Hall built and since its completion, he has been an active committee member, endlessly fundraising to ensure the hall is maintained. Mrs Panton was instrumental in overseeing the build of a new Village Hall in Tunstall which opened in 2002. She is the Events Organiser and ensures that the Hall is in constant use and enjoyed by the entire community. She was also responsible for setting up Friends of Tunstall Church which raises much needed funds for the upkeep of the Village Church. (c) Barry Duffield DL

Mr Sleightholm founded the St Peter’s Village Tour in 1995 to encourage tourists to visit the village and the wider area in Thanet. The Tour is a living historical journey through the village and is now a hugely successful tourist attraction. It has won numerous awards and has been a huge benefit to the local economy in the area. Mr Tyler has been involved with the British Red Cross since 1985 and has responsibility for event first aid cover for all major events across Kent and Sussex. He was leading the team providing first aid cover at the Shoreham Air Show last year when tragically a plane came down on a main road. He ensured that his team swiftly provided care and dignity to all casualties. He is an exceptional volunteer who has dedicated his adult life to caring for others.(c) Barry Duffield DL
